Lydia held up her hands in defense. "I'm not allowed to visit an old friend??" Tara shot daggers at her. "Can we just cut to the chit chat, I have practice at 9:30." "It's only 8:30." she said sharply. "Ya, and practice is 45 minutes away from your house." "Fine." "Look, my daughter, made friends with your daughters..." "Daughter. I only have one daughter." Tara replied. "Oh"
OOC: Hope I didn't god play with Tara too much!!

OOC: its ok. just dont kill her or nothin IC: "Yeah, actually," Tara replied. "That other little girl, the one who looks absolutly nothing like me, happens to be the daughter of our dear friend Indigo. You have one too?" Lydia nodded. Tara sighed and threw her hands up in the air. "This is great. Just great. It's a bloody reunion."

"So what should we do," Lydia asked casually, "Call all the Irregulars for a meeting?? Because, as it seems, Indigo's, your's, and my daughter know about the Shadow City." Tara started to protest, when Lydia also added, "My daughters known about it for 5 years now." Tara froze, and gripped the table tightly as her knuckles turned white.

Tara looked up at Lydia sharply. "Indigo and I already decided that we didn't want them to know." "It's a bit late for that, isn't it?" "I want you to leave now. Take your daughter with you. They'll forget about the Shadow City. They have to. I did."

"Really??", Lydia said smirking, reaching up to the top of the fridge, "Then, why is the map that we made still in the same place that you kept it when you were 15?" Tara just stared at her wide eyed. "Seems to me, if YOU can't forget the Shadow City, they won't either. I suggest you tell them, like I did to my girl, so they won't get hurt." Lydia said bluntly. "Jackie!" she yelled, "Get your butt here now!" Jackie rushed downstairs to her mom's side. "Here's my card." Lydia told Tara harshly, "If you need too call me." With that said, Jackie, and Lydia left Tara's house, and raced off in the small car.

Catie and Izzy ran downstairs. "Mom?" Catie asked. "What's going on?" "Nothing," tara sighd, running her hand through her hair. "Go to your room. Izzy, go with her." "But mom-" "Now!" Catie and Izzy went up to Catie's room. "Do you have any idea what's going on?" Catie whispered to her friend.

Lydia zoomed across the streets, reaching 80 in a 50 mph zone. When she got home to the parking garage, landing with a screech, she threw the keys to Jackie, and stomped off to the Broadway building in a heap of fury. Jackie just sighed, unlocked herself, and walked back to the apartment.

That evening Tara knocked on the door of Caite's room. Izzie was still there. "Can I come in?" she asked tentavily "Sure," Catie said. Tara walked in and sat on the edge ofthe bed. "I know a lot of strange things have happened today. and i know you want answers. But you're going to have to trust me," Tara sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "A long time ago, when I was your age, I was in a group. So was your mom, Izzie, and that lady you met today. We called ourselves the Irregulars. We discovered that place, the Sahdow City and explored it. We found all sorts of things. We thought it was an adventure. We though it gave our lives meaning. But then, I got pregnant, and I left. Soon after the same happened with Indigo. We decided it was imprtant that neither of you knew. We wanted to keep you safe. And that was not safe." "That's great, Mom," Catie said. "I appreciate you looking out for us, i really do. But there's something you're not telling us. I can tell." Tara's eyes narrowed. "What do y;ou mean, you can tell?" "I don't know. I can just feel it." "There is nothing mor eand that is it. Good night." and Tara left. As soon as she knew her mom was gone, Catie turned to izzy. "Let's go." she shed her nightclothes, revealing a black outfit she had put together, and started out the window onto the fire escape.

After practice, Lydia went to the apartment, finding it empty. A note was on the fridge, and it read:
Mom, Went exploring in the Shadow City. Don't worry, I brought my phone, Reverse Pied Piper, etc. Dinner's in the fridge. Love, -Jackie
Lydia read the note, studying it for 5 minutes. She then ran over to the phone book, looked up the name, and dialed it.
"Hello?" The woman's voice asked.
"Tara, it's Lydia, check your daughter's room, NOW!!"

Catie and Izzy soon arrived at the Shadow City. "Hey," Catie said to Jackie, "Thanks for meeting with us. This is gonna be great." "Do I even dare ask if your mom knows about this?" "It'd be better if you didn't." "Fair enough."
Tara ran into catie's room. The window was open, blowing in cold air, and Catie and Izzy were nowhere to be seen. Tara swore under her breath. She put the phone back toher mouth. "They're gone."
the group was sneaking through the SC when suddenly they heard voices. Nodding to the others, Catie started creeping closer to hear them. "Gonna get them... long awaited revenge... finally... kids... thought we'd forget... stupid irregulars..." Catie gasped at this last word. "mum." Suddenly the voices stopped at it sounded like people were coming closer to the door. The door opened, and staring at them was a woman with glowing yellow eyes and long dark hair. "Hello," she said with a malicous smile.

Jackie was frozen, unable what to do, she reached down quickly, grabbed a brick, and threw it at the lady. "RUN!" she yelled, and the 3 girls ran from the woman, trying to get far away from her as possible. She went into a room, that had no trapdoors, or people, and locked the door. "That was close." she gasped.
"Tara," Lydia said softly, "Our girls are missing." "I realize that." "I-I think we need an Irregulars meeting." Silence.
OOC: Reunion!!

OOC: yay!!! "alright," Tara finally said, sounding resigned. "I'll call Indigo. You get hold of the others. We can meet here."
"Who is that woman?" Tara asked Jackie as they barricaded the door with chairs and such. "Why does she want to hurt our mums?"

"Um, Tara? I only know 2. We both have to try. You can meet at my house at 10. Bye." Lydia said, then flipped her phone shut.
"Well," Jackie stated, "As you might know, our mom's, plus a few, were in a group called the Irregulars. The head of the Irregular's name was Kiki Strike. That woman over there, has tried to kill Kiki, and the Irregulars numerous times. She is not a good woman."
"W-will she shoot us?" Catie asked.
"Maybe.." Jackie said, "But those old uniforms you got from your mom's are bulletproof. I should probably be the one in danger." Jackie looked down at her black assemble of sweatpants, tights, cami, jacket, and jazz shoes, then looked at the girls sleek uniforms. "Ya, I'm definitely in danger."

"She never told us about that," Catie said. "I knew there was something she was hiding. i knew it. We have to make sure she doesn't get to us. I guess for now we stay here."
Tara called some of the irregulars she had numbers from when she was still a member some of them were out fo service, but a fw picked up. "This is Tara. Yes, it has been a long time. Well, we're holding an emergency meeting. No this isn't a joke. In fact, it's quite serious." Finally she called Cricket's old number. She remembered her last conversation. It was right after Catie was born and her friend had come to visit her in the hospital. "You've got another Irregular rihgt here," Cricket has said. Tara had closed her eyes and tried to imagine her beautiful baby daughter putting herself in the same danger she had. "No,' Tara finally said. "We don't." "What? She might enjoy it." "she's not going to be like that. It's too dangerous. She could get hurt." Cricket was silent for several minutes. "And what if she's an empath. What then?" "No.She can't be. That's too much. she won't be." "You can't just choose. She's a person, not a doll." "She;s a living person. and she's going to stay that way. I'm sorry, but she's staying away from the Irregulars. And so am I. You can tell kiki i quit." "Don't do this." "I have to." And that was the last time they had spoken. Finally, Tara shook herself out of her reverie and called. "Hey, is Cricket there? It's Tara. I know, you don't want to here from me. But I'm back, and so are the Irregulars. We're having a meeting at Lydia's at 10. come if you want. Bye." she hung up and called Indigo. "Hey, umm... I know you don't want to hear this, but Izzy knows. So deos Catie. Tey found the shadow city. No i didn't tell them about the crime fighting or Sidonia. But they snuck out. They're missing. We're having an Irregulars meeting at 10 at Lydia's. I'll come by there and we can go together." Catie hung up and took off. Indigo didn't talk toher the whole way there. Tara could tell her friend was mad, but didn't say anything. Finally they got to Lydia's apartment. They went in and sat down. "Wow," Tara sighed. "It's just like I remember it." OOC: hope that's not god- playing Cricket too much.
