"Get your butt over here!" Tara yelled into the speaker and hung up.
Catie ignored Jackie and drifted over to a hairbrush. it was antique and very beautiful. she held it for a moment, closing her eyes. "Whoever owns this wants revenge. She's angry. Really angry. And she's smart. And determined. She's dangerous."

Jackie just stared at Catie. "Um, I think we should go now, because this is REALLY REALLY, freaking me out. I mean it's freaking me out more then Paranormal Activity."
Lydia snapped her phone shut, and started to casually walk in Tara's direction. "Shouldn't we hurry?" Alice asked. "Nah." Lydia said smiling devilishly.

"Alright," said Catie, opening her eyes. She followed Jackie out of the room, secretly pocketing the hairbrush. She was starting to get headache, but ignored it as they left.
Tara stood there pacing for about ten minutes. Finally, Lydia and Alice showed up. "Where have you been?!" she snapped.

Jackie stopped them at the door. "Who says we go back in the Shadow City? Our moms are going to kill us." She said, getting a sinister smile, "Come on follow me!" Jackie, Catie, and Izzy all climbed up the ladder, going to the main floor of the hotel.
"You never told us we had to RUSH there, so we took our time." Lydia smirked, and Emma, and Alice tried not to laugh.

"Whatever," Tara sighed. "We need to get this door open. They're in there and they won't let us in."
They emerged in a made's closet and went into the main lobby. The hotel was quite nice. The girls attracted a few strange looks with their dirty appearance. They ignored them and looked around.

"Um, I'm not a locksmith, nor am I a scientist, you need Dee Dee's and Oona's help. Not mine." Lydia shrugged.
"Wow," Jackie breathed, "This is amazing." A few minutes, after taking it all in they left it, to New York's busy, and crowded streets.

"I don't need a locksmith," Tara said. "I just need your gun." She grabbed it and shot out the handle to the door. She pulled it open and walked in. They weren't in there, but the ladder was down. "They went up here," she called.

"Well this is just great" snapped indigo as the emerged into the hotel, "now there's no way to tell what entrance they might have used to get back in," she turned suddenly to Lydia "did you give your daughter one of the maps?"
"and I'm thirteen and a half by the way!" shouted Izzy indignantly suddenly remembering the older girls insult "same difference" muttered Jackie "nu-uhh!" "we don't have time for this" said catie looking back down the block and through the large windows as their moms gathered in the hotel lobby "lets go to the park!" suggested Izzy "there's lots of good places to hide in there"

"Doi." Lydia said, rolling her eyes, "Of course I did!"
"Are you crazy?" Jackie said, "It's midnight and dark, and you suggest we go to the PARK? Are you CRAZY? How bout we see a movie or play? I can get us in the plays for free, and the Rated-R movies."

"Everybody, please just shut up," Catie said. "What we should do is go back to the SC. We can stay away from our parents and i want to find out more about that lady, the one who wants to get them. She's interesting."

OOC: Isn't this more like 2nd gen. since its the irregulars kids? Not grand kids? BTW, fine play on Cricket there. Couldn't have done better with the past reference.
IC: Cricket had gotten a call from Tara. Tara! After all that stuff she had said and done she had the nerve to-...well, ok she had her reasons.
"And I have mine" Cricket muttered, shifting her daughters head.
They were on a train coming in from the airport. They wouldn't make it to the meeting but...might as well see whats up. No one called a meeting for a bad reason.
Yarrowbell's breath whistled out through her nose and she moved her head to her other side where her twin brother Aireyn slept pressed up against the window.
Looks like twins ran in the family genes. At least these ones weren't so attatched to eachother that they wouldn't get married and would move into another house together studying the occult for the rest of their lives.
"Boy. I sure grew up. Unlike them." Cricket thought.
"Central station" The anouncement said.
"Come on babies! Up." Cricket said doftly shaking them.
"Mom, we appreciate the centiment, but we're 17 not babies" Yarrowbell said sitting up and rubbing her eyes in a way that totally contradicted what she had said.
"It would be most appreciated if you would, of your courtacy, move over" Aireyn mumbled as he too sat up.
They collected their things and started walking. Time to hit the Cafe and see if they could beg a room from Crickets husband. Not that they should have to beg, but it had been almost a year since she had been back to New York and he had to stay here for his work.
"I miss London!" Aireyn exclamed.
"Yah, well I miss Aunty and Uncles in Canada, but you don't see me complaining"
"Arrow!" Cricket admonished.
"I apollegize for my brash comment" Yarrowbell said.
"Thats better. Kay, here we are."
The big corner building rose up like an old memory. A small white hand cupped in the familiar fashion of British royalty waved from an upstairs window.
"Looks like we own the whole thing..." Cricket muttered, "Kiki's still here"
They entered the building.
Cricket greeted her husband enthusiastically.
"Missed you" She murmered into his ear.

"Haha, yeah right! You think we're going to go in the Shadow City, with over 10 ladies looking for us?" Jackie asked, her french accent growing heavier, and heavier, as she got more frustrated.

First off, I'm 19, and second, I would have left already, but as a temporary legal guardian, I have to watch over you!" Jackie said, her words barely legible by the now VERY heavy French accent.

"Yes, you have to protect us and we have to listen to you. Do you have any idea how sick i am of people trying to protect me and telling me what to do? First my mother and now you." Catie realized she was drawing attention, but didn't care.
