Some bloke grabbed Tara and she kicked and screamed, but was eventually tied up with duck tape and tossed in a corner with the others. "You are going to pay for this? Do you here me? You are going to bloody pay!" Then someone stuck a piece of tape over her mouth and she couldnt make anything over a muffled sound.

Cricekt was unceremoniously stuffed into a closet sized vault with three other people, no lights so she wasn't sure who it was.
"Who's in here with me?" Cricket whispered. She hoped they had heard her, there was a very irritating fan that was whirring quite loudly.
Cricket waited for an answer and checked all her pockets. Good, the bad guys were morons. They left her with all her stuff!

"mmmm." Tara said (or tried to say) in response to Cricket's question. She stared into the darkness. She was such a moron, rushing them in here. But that wasn't even the worst part. They hadn't saved Lacey. Where was she? Was she even still alive?

"I'm here too" came another voice, "Betty, and someone else is with us but their out like - a light!"
Cricket held a candle...well, a part of a candle. She could now see Tara, Betty, and who appeared to be Emma. Cricket pulled the tape from Taras mouth and motioned that they all stay quiet.
Pulling a small glass jar filled with beads out of her back Cricket quickly fashioned a listening device by the simple matter of dumping out its contents and placing it against the door.
"Grab the little blonde one and her look-a-like. We're getting out of here" A muffled voice sounded.
"...take em to..............the boss isn't...........he's gonna....."
Cricket stomped her foot on the ground. She was only getting fragments from the other guy. He spoke really softly.
She quickly related the turn of events to her companions and then the candle went out.
"Crap..." Cricket muttered, "I know people say theres no time like the present but I really needed time to learn how to unlock doors by touch..."

I have a phone," Emma said. "They must have figured I wouldn't get signal in here. But it might give you enough light to work by."

"That might work..." Cricket said.
The cell phone light turned on. Measley little thing that it was. It did the trick.
"kay...combination lock...both inside and out........" Cricket turned it one way and the other. No good, she couldn't hear it, she would have to do it by sound anyway. Light helped though she'd get the numbers quicker. She turned it a third time trying to feel the clicks.
An alarm sounded.
"Oh fantastic its one of those." Cricket moaned, "No way is this thing opening now"
Sure enough three loud clunks were heard from inside the door. The alarm had triggered metal bars that prevented the opening of the door unless it was disabled from the outside.
And then Emma's cell phone died.

"Crap," Emma muttered. "Knew I should have charged. What now? I don't suppose they left you with any weapons?"

"They left be with everything. The only problem is I gave one of my knife sets to Indigo and the other is vastly under stocked. I have two knives...they're throat shots and I'm not prepared to loose 'em or use 'em unless I have to." Cricket replied.
The room went utterly silent, except for the continual whirring of air through the vent.
"Wait a tick..." Cricket started.
"The vent!" came the unanimous epiphany.

Since they didn't have a light, the Irregulars had to feel for the vent. They finaly found it and managed to pry it of. "It's pretty small," Emma observed. "I'll sneak through," Tara said. "I can probably fit. Does someone have a knife or something I can borrow?"

For some reason or another Indigo had gotten thrown in with Kiki and Lacey. The three of them were like living duct tape mummys stuffed in the trunk of a small car, Lacey had been knocked out but Kiki and indigo were still conscious, of course they couldn't talk because their mouthes had been practically glued shut. After what seemed like hours the trunk opened, and light blinded the girls, but only for a second because now they had duct tape strips across their eyes.

"Yup. But I'm only giving you one. You never know what could happen on this end." Cricket slipped one of her last knives into her palm and handed it to Tara.
"Good luck"

"Thanks," Tara took the knife and wriggled into the vents along with a string of curses. Tara hadn't had a small places on a regular bases, but she hoped there weren't any bad guys, cause she was making a lot noise. She finally hit another vent and crawled out. The only guard was lostening to music on headphones and had his back turned. Tara hit him ove rthe head with the but of the knife and ran over to the safe. "Can you guys here me?" she called.

"Loud and clear" pal, came the faintly echoing voice of Cricket.
"Kay, so now what?" Came another voice from, inside.
"We really didn't think this through did we..." Cricket mumbled, "Hey Tara, was the vent a really tight squeeze or do you think I could get through? Cause if I can't then I'm gonna have to walk you through this opening thing verbally"

Tara thought about it for a second. "I wouldn't reccomend it. Why don't you just give me directions?"

Ok...
"Turn the dial to the left. Put your ear really close to it. Your going to hear a click for every number line. However there with be one click that sound lower than the rest. Stop there. Write the number down. Then repeat the process going to the right. Then left, then right again. Once you have all four numbers turn the dial three times to reset."
