"Were okay..." Lydia coughed.
"You sure?" Cricket asked.
"J-Just a little cold" Danielle stammered.
"Then lets get you a cup of something warm...my treat" Cricket said with a grin, "Actually, I could treat you all. My parents own a tea house a few blocks from here."

"Well...we need to re-group" Cricket said.
"I agree with you Cricket but Tara also has a point" Kiki said, "Luz, you got a tracker on Lacey? Good then take half of us and go after her. The rest of us will get these three to Crickets Cafe and then we'll catch up"

Cricket looked a bit reluctant.
"Ok Tara, if you think you're good, go. If you guys run into trouble, flight not fight. Wait for us, we don't want any more injuries" Kiki commanded.

"Ok," Tara agreed. She was still feeling only the slightest bit faint. She ignored Cricket'sconcerned face. She was fine. "Who else wants to come?"

Cricekt ripped off an arm holster, "How good are you with knives?"
"Um...ok?"
"Right then. Your right handed?"
Cricket got an answering nod and she fastened the knives to her right arm. Showing her how to slip the release droping one of the 6 blades into her hand.
"Just don't lose 'em. They were a gift from one of my Juvie buddies and I kinda hope to be able to rely further on that person in the future." Cricket said with a wink.

Tara borrowed a copl of knives from Cricket. She couldn't help a faint smile. Hanging out with people from juvie and arming herself. If her mother could see her now. Heck, if the girl she was six months ago could see her now. She, Indigo (and whoever else) went through the tunnels to the exit nearest to the place where Lacey's tracker was.

The others went on to Crickets Cafe and faded into the shadows that haunted the city.

Tara and the others came to the place where Lacey was. They came to a hotel in Chinatown. It looked kind of seedy, like where you would see drug dealers. They were definitly in the right plave.

"stealth approach or should we go in all guns blazing?" whispered indigo looking at the others. Just then a scream and the sound of gunshots came from inside the hotel.

Kiki and the others were running to catch up.
Cricket's chest felt like it mught explode and her head reeled. God, what a day to be running.
In the distance they heard gunshots.
"That better not be them" Kiki muttered, "They were supposed to wait for backup not charge in like fools"
"Go easy on them," Cricket panted, "You never know what the circumstances are, not to mention that the gunshots would most likely have come from the people we're after. Not the girls."

Tara was thinking about approaches. Kiki had told them to be smart, but what if they were hurting Lacey? Then she heard the gunshots and screams. There was no way she was waiting. "Let's go," she said. And the girls took out their weapons and rushed into the hotel room.

The others arrived a split second later and jumped into the frey. It was all over within a few seconds...not in the irregulars favor.
