OOC: Inspired by this very creepy song, if you're interested: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufhx2xFJUIoIC: Welcome to Lousiana, a southern state with a history rooted in the highest reaches of Europe and the darkest depths of the Carribbean. At the cusp of its territory, where water meets land, is the bright city of New Orleans, know for jazz and alcohol. But a few miles north of the Big Easy, deep in the bayous of the Lousiana back country, is a place called the drop-off, filled with things that wail and scream of forgotten misery and evil as the sun drops beneath the cypress...

The Irregulars were sitting in a hotel room. They were on vacation, at last. Well, technically (some irregular) was on vacation and had invited the rest of them along. It was good to just sit back every now and then. Tara was siting at a table, reading the paper. Sage walked up behind her. "Those things lie," She commented. "You can't get any really reliable information from some corporate money grabber." Tara ignored her. She was busy focusing on an article. It was about a little girl, Faith Gorse, who had mysteriously disappeared from the back country of Louisiana just yesterday. "Hey, guys," she said. "Come reading this."

"Can't" Alice said, getting an apple, "Lydia, Christine, and Danielle are at the beach. And don't try to disturb them. I just got out after they buried me in a 6 foot deep thing of sand." Alice wore a crimson and white dress diagonell dress, that looked like it came from the the thirty's.

"Well, this is really weird," Tara said. "She was on vacation with her family when she suddenly went missing. They found her bag, full of cash, by this real old tree."

"Lie." Alice brushed off quickly, getting a wine glass to fill with wine (underage, I know), grabbed a paperback, and a large hat, and sunglasses.

"Told you so," Sage mentioned. Catie only rolled her eyes. "Would any of you believe me if i said I was getting a vibe about this?"

"Nope." Alice said before closing the glass door behind her, to go to the beach.

"I really think there's something weird going on here," Tara insisted, even after Alice had left. "Something almost as dangerous as we are." "Or maybe," Sage suggested from across the table, "You're just bored and want some action."

Christine took the liberty of the beach to get a tan. She would wow all the girls at school with it, being one of the only girls getting a tan in January. Danielle and Lydia were throwing balls of wet sand at each other, in sand forts, annoying Christine, as the sand kept getting on her bikini.

Cricket walked in in all her Canadian glory. Lightly tanned, almost invisible muscles, black bikini and sarong. She was also dripping with water and her hair was a tangled mess.
"You guys!" she complained, "I'm never gonna get this out!"
"What happened to you?" Tara asked looking up.
"The beach ruffians..." Circket glowered refering to Lydia, Christine, and Danielle.
Everyone nodded and went back to their argument.
Cricket Pulled some scissors from her beach bag and chopped off her shoulder length hair into a pixi cut. Yup, no way those tangles would have ever come out.
She peered over Tara's shoulder and started to read the ariticle.
"Feel that?" She whispered in Tara's ear.

"Yeah," Tara said. "And here I thought it was just me. Good thing we have a back up psychic."

"I. JUST. WANT. A. FREAKIN. TAN." Christine growled. "Then move, we're in the middle of a game." "It's the most sunniest part of the beach." "Not our fault!" "Fine!" Christine said, storming out, to a tanning salon, and spa..

Gricket grinned and gave her a hug, "Well, your the big sensitive. They should really learn to trust your instincts."

"Yeah, that's mostly my fault, considering I've been telling them not to trust my instinct cause i could very well be wrong, but this time i know something's going on. You know? Who would kidnap someone and leave their stuff behind, including money and valuables?"
